PrimeX is the winner of the “Fintech Factor” Startup Competition

On 10 October, fintech company PrimeX achieved remarkable success at the Fintech Factor competition held during the Latvia Fintech Forum 2023.

The grand prize of the competition, a cash award provided by investor Gary Palmer, was awarded to the Estonian company PrimeX (FNTCH OÜ, co-founded by Demet Zubeyiroglu and A. Mustafa Baltaci). PrimeX also received a six-month subscription to Crystal Blockchain's platform, generously provided by Crystal Blockchain Analytics.

The Fintech Forum, held in Riga, generated widespread interest, attracting over 200 financial sector representatives from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Scandinavia. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Latvia's fintech strategy, developments in Latvia's fintech environment, and global fintech trends. They also appreciated the discussions on attracting investments to fintech companies, challenges in the world of crypto-assets, and the development prospects created by artificial intelligence.

Latvia Fintech Forum 2023 was organized by Latvijas Banka in collaboration with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), with the aim of fostering cooperation within the fintech ecosystem, promoting innovation in Latvia's financial sector, and facilitating the growth of fintech companies.
